HOW TO CHANGE SOME WIDGET STUFF
So, to change the information in the “What’s New” box at the bottom left of the page, you’re going to have to go into ‘Widgets’. To do that, go to your dashboard and hover your mouse over the Appearance menu, then click ‘Widgets’. Look at the column on the right and click on the bar that says “Footer 1.” It should drop down to say “Text” – click on that too, and it’ll open up to show whatever you have in your What’s New box. You can change that text however you like. To separate paragraphs, use <br> at the end of a line.
We still have to figure out what we’re doing for Word of the Week… hmmmm. But to get to it, you will do the same thing – go to Appearances, then Widgets, then Footer 2.
About Rat-O… the font probably won’t show up on most computers, so right now I’m just using an image as a placeholder. We’ll figure out a different way of doing that. But adding posts will be a little tricky if you want to use all those graphics (the arrows, etc.). Not impossible – just more complicated 🙂
Oh, and the intro font is smaller because it’s just an image and I had to scale it down to fit on the page. Nothing we can do about that right now. When we can set it up with just normal text, it should be fine.
